Antonio Celis holds an MSc in Geological Sciences from The University of British Columbia, Canada and is a Qualified Person (QP) under the Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) designation of Engineers & Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC). He’s a well-rounded geologist with both mineral exploration and resource geology experience, mostly in copper and gold deposits in the Americas. Since 2011, he has built a broad working experience in the mining & exploration sector, having work for major companies like BHP, service providers and Canadian junior exploration companies. Antonio is currently the manager of geology for Taseko Mines Ltd, which operates the Gibraltar Cu-Mo Mine in western Canada, the second largest open pit operation in Canada.
